About
Thamina Rastagar-O'Rourke is an Afghan-German filmmaker, storyteller and CGI Artist, born in Kabul and based in Berlin. She studied Film and Motion Design.
For over a decade, she has worked in the German media industry across film, animation and visual storytelling, moving between commercial projects and artistic practice.
In her current artistic practice she works in worldbuilding and fiction, exploring themes of Afghan mythology, identity, memory and diaspora.
